The Port Fairy Showgrounds offers spacious, mainly unpowered camping sites (on level ground), with plenty of hot showers and toilet facilities.  Includes 24 hour security from 12 noon Friday to 12 noon Monday.

Delicious hot breakfasts provided daily by the Port Fairy Show Committee (at low additional cost).

The showgrounds are within easy walking distance of the main folky arena (see map below) and town centre.

Powered / Non-powered Site Booking for the Showgrounds Camping Ground

The minimum stay is 3 days (Friday-Monday) over the Festival weekend.  

2024 prices

Adults $90 each (18yrs & over - total for 3 days Fri/Sat/Sun)
Children $50 each (4yrs to 17 - total for 3 days Fri/Sat/Sun)
Children under 4 yrs FREE
Powered Site (request only)  $30 (cost per person for 3 days Fri/Sat/Sun)

Extra nights - Thursday and/or Monday nights:

$30 per night per adult, $15 per night per child under 18 years, and children under 4 years are free.  Sites are available from 4 p.m. on Thursday.

ABOUT THE SITES

Sites are 7 x 7 metres. One car and one caravan, trailer, or tent per site. These must be fully contained within the site. Other cars may be parked off site outside the Show Grounds. The Show Society will allocate sites based on need. A limited number of 10 AMP powered sites are available at $30 per day. These sites will be allocated on a first in, first served basis.
